Some of us were never meant to choose one path.

So like here’s what no one really talks about when it comes to mythology and spirituality.. everybody wants to pretend like it’s all the same thing, like all the goddesses are just different names for the same energy, and while there’s a little truth in that, it’s not actually how it works when you’re really living this path. And I’m not saying that from a place of gatekeeping or trying to sound deep, I’m just saying like... EACH of these systems carries its own flavor, its own vibe, its own spiritual technology. They are NOT interchangeable. And that doesn’t mean you can’t work with more than one.. I do it all the time. It just means you have to actually understand what you’re working with.

Like the reason I move through different mythologies in my practice ISN’T because I’m confused or mixing vibes or trying to do the most.. it’s because I’ve lived so many timelines that not one system could hold me. And I know a lot of you feel the same. Some of you feel called to Egyptian deities, and then the Celtic ones start showing up, and then suddenly LILITH comes in blazing and you’re like, WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?? And I want you to know that’s not a mistake. Your soul REMEMBERS. But you gotta understand that each of these systems wasn’t just made up to be interesting stories.. they were designed by people, cultures, ancestors who were building ENTIRE spiritual frameworks based on the world they lived in. And so when you step into these myths, you’re not just connecting with a goddess, you’re stepping into a WHOLE ASS WORLD. A belief system. A cosmology. A worldview. And those worlds don’t all speak the same spiritual language.

Like Greek mythology? That’s chaos-coded. Lol.. let’s be real.. It’s the one that’s like “Let’s personify every human shadow and make it HOT.” The gods are dramatic, jealous, seductive, reckless, and so human it hurts. They’re meant to reflect our inner lives back to us. The divine feminine here isn’t soft, she’s layered. Think Persephone, Artemis, Medusa, Nyx, Hecate.. all showing different dimensions of power, death, duality, justice, mystery. Greek mythology is where you go when you’re ready to do shadow work and get called out by a goddess who also might turn you into a tree for looking at her wrong.

Now Egyptian mythology? I loveeeeee! That’s a WHOLE different frequency. These deities don’t feel like people. They feel like energy currents.. cosmic, eternal, anchored in MA'AT (truth, order, justice). Isis isn’t out here being messy.. she’s holding the memory of resurrection. Sekhmet isn’t just rage.. she’s sacred destruction. These gods were literally woven into how the Egyptians understood LIFE ITSELF.. birth, death, seasons, time, the afterlife. Their religion and magic weren’t separate things, they were one. You worked with the gods through the way you lived.

Celtic mythology? That one hits different. It’s more ancestral, more earth-based. Less about personality, more about pattern. It’s like… the gods and spirits here aren’t in the sky looking down.. they’re in the land. They’re fog, stone, bone, fire. You feel them in the rain, in your body, in dreamspace. Cerridwen, Brigid, The Morrigan.. they’re less about worship and more about direct relationship. They show up when your body’s remembering something your mind can’t name yet. That’s why a lot of people who’ve never read a single Celtic myth still feel pulled toward these energies. It’s in their blood. In the land memory. This path teaches you to listen.. not just channel.

Then we’ve got Norse mythology. This one’s colder, more fatalistic.. but still deeply powerful. It’s very “meet your destiny head-on or get dragged” energy. Their gods aren’t here to save you, they’re here to prepare you. Freyja’s not here to help you manifest your dream partner.. she’s here to remind you that death is part of beauty. Hel isn’t scary, she’s the stillness of what comes after. There’s deep wisdom here, but you have to EARN it.

And THEN there’s Sumerian and Mesopotamian mythology.. the ones most people never learn but were literally the first ever recorded. Inanna, Ishtar, Ereshkigal. These are underworld queens. Descent stories. Initiation stories. These are the blueprint for so many “modern” goddesses. Like if you’ve ever had a season of complete ego death and rebirth? They were probably walking with you.

And I haven’t even touched on Archangels yet. These are a whole other system.. not mythological, but still divine. More Christian/Catholic Coded.. They’re rooted in Abrahamic religions but transcend them in how a lot of modern mystics work. Michael for protection, Gabriel for clarity, Raphael for healing. It’s more celestial energy. Less archetypal, more transmission-based. If goddesses walk with you, angels kind of blast light into you. Like, you can feel when they’re in the room. It’s precise. Intense. Clear.

So when people say “It’s all the same goddess in different outfits,” respectfully? No. These are different languages. Different keys. Different tools. You’re not disrespecting them by honoring more than one.. you’re disrespecting them by pretending they’re all the same. And I say that with love. And religion.. let’s talk about it. Because this isn’t just about myth and vibes and aesthetics. Religion is the container. It’s how these stories were lived, not just told. Some religions are open and fluid, like Buddhism or Paganism. Others are closed or require cultural lineage, like Santería or some branches of Hinduism. That doesn’t mean you can’t be curious.. it means you approach with respect.

Also, not everything spiritual is “mythology.” Some people use that word to mean “not real” and that’s not what we’re doing here. These aren’t fairy tales. These are sacred technologies, oral histories, cosmologies passed through blood and breath. Myth doesn’t mean false. It means symbolic. Layered. Alive. And I get it.. when you first start out, it’s easy to feel like it’s just vibes. But there’s a difference between being guided by intuition and being guided by Pinterest algorithms. Just because a goddess shows up in your dreams doesn’t mean you can skip learning her actual history. Just because a deity is trending doesn’t mean it’s meant for you. But also? If you feel a deep, undeniable pull to a figure you didn’t even know existed until they showed up in a vision or dream.. you honor that. You listen. You study. You let the relationship build.

For me? I follow all these systems because they each unlocked something I couldn’t get anywhere else. Like Lilith taught me how to be powerful without permission. Cerridwen taught me to sit in the unknown without rushing it. Isis reminded me of my role as a protector, a guide, a space-holder. Hecate helped me let things DIE that were no longer mine to carry. And none of them felt the same. They each had their own voice. Their own instruction. Their own ritual. And I know that sounds like a lot. Like how do you even begin to “follow multiple paths”? How do you not get overwhelmed? The answer is simple.. you don’t follow them all at once. You LISTEN. You let yourself be called. And when something calls you, you go deeper. You research the pantheon. You learn what that culture believed. You understand the cosmology. You don’t just take the goddess.. you take the CONTEXT. Because the more context you hold, the more potent the relationship becomes.

Sooo no, you don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be an academic. You just have to be present. You have to care enough to go beyond surface-level symbolism and into real relationship. Because this isn’t about looking spiritual. It’s about becoming whole. And that means remembering that the divine doesn’t need to make sense to anybody else. It just needs to feel real to YOU. So when I talk about mythology, when I channel different goddesses, when I teach from different systems.. it's not because I’m trying to show off or be “extra.” It’s because I genuinely believe this is what we’re here to do. To REMEMBER. To hold more than one truth. To walk in many worlds without losing ourselves in any of them. And yeah, sometimes I’m channeling Lilith with smoke in the air and rage in my chest. And other times I’m sitting with Brigid, writing poetry by candlelight. Sometimes it’s Hecate at the crossroads. Sometimes it’s just me and a flame and my own heartbeat. It’s never just performance. It’s never just vibes. It’s me, in relationship with the divine.

So no, they’re not all the same. But every single one of them? They remind me of who I am.

if you’ve ever felt like you’re too much, too spiritual, too witchy, too multi-path, too sensitive, too intuitive.. you’re not. You’re just remembering a language this world tried to make you forget. So if you’ve been called by different systems and you’ve been trying to “make it make sense,” I hope this did. You’re not scattered. You’re multi-dimensional. And your soul knows how to hold it all. You don’t need permission, you never did.. Let the stories of each divine being teach you. Let the energy guide you. Let your own remembering be enough. And just know.. whatever path you’re walking? The divine is walking it with you. Every single timeline.
